2015 Enterprise Hyde Sails Inland Championship sailed at Burton SSC on 2 – 3 May. Report below from Bob and Paula Southworth - Enterprise Class Secretary
Congratulations to Neil Barrett and Sophie Jones from Wanlip SC sailing 20565 MISTY. Neil and Sophie are comparative new comers to the Enterprise Fleet and they are a very welcomed new addition – re-igniting the competitive spirit in the fleet. Well Done. Saturdays racing was windy and damp followed by Sunday which was dry and fluky!! The two days racing was very close in all sections of the fleet – making the last race a ‘Must win’ race for some if they were to improve their position. I would like to conclude with a very BIG THANK You for our much appreciated Sponsors – Hyde Sails and Noble Marine. The Enterprise Association is very appreciative of their support. It helps the Association to be able to run attractive Championships for our competitors. Thanks must also go to our host club Burton who managed an excellent event. Adam and his race committee were first class – as was the club, bar and buffet services provided – a really great weekend enjoyed by all and I am sure we will be taking up the invite to return to Burton SC in the future.

There were many more prizes drawn from the Hyde Sails Prize Draw – just WOW and thank you Hyde Sails.

Thank you Bob, Paula and all the Enterprise sailors - great to hear you had such a fantastic event and we are honored to have helped sponsor the event, I hope everyone enjoys their goodies and congratulations to Neil Barrett and Sophie Jones aboard 20565 Misty.
