Listening to the chatter of friends and family who had lined the River Thames eagerly waiting to see the first glimpse of the yachts returning home, it was clear they were all very excited.

After 41,135 nautical miles, the 103 members of the Clipper 2015-2016 Race crew could add them self to the exclusive list of people that have sailed around the world. Infact so elite is this club, more people have climb Mount Everest!

With the timed precision we have come to expect, the fleet emerged at 10am to a roar of support from loved ones. The Parade of Sail began at the Thames Barrier and came into view by London Bridge, which lifted twice for the teams to pass through.

Once all teams had lock in to St Katerine's Docks, they soon gathered for on the dock interviews which was followed by a prizegiving ceremony which saw Lmax crowed overall winners of the Clipper 2015-2016 Race series.
