Hyde’s sails have been powering the 10-strong Clipper fleet as they race around the world
At each stopover, the Hyde team has been on hand to help deal with the inevitable wear and tear.
The race is hotting up as the fleet approaches Qingdao, the end of Race 6 and the midway point of the race. The Clipper fleet might be down to nine for the time being, with the unfortunate ‘Cork’ lost on a reef in the Java Sea, but a replacement boat will be ready when the race reaches Panama. Hyde is manufacturing the spinnakers for the new boat and working closely with Clipper to ensure her sail wardrobe gives her the same advantages as the other nine yachts....Read On

Flying Moth development

The International Moth worlds is due to start in Dubai in a week’s time, and over the winter the Hyde team has been working hard developing a new version of their winning mainsail design.

A keen Moth sailor himself, Hyde Sails' Technical Director Mike Lennon explains: "With such an early world championship In Dubai this March, we wanted to move our Nationals-winning 2a design forward over the winter. However, the weather to date has not been kind and this has only allowed three iterations of the design. The development is further complicated by the need for three different luff curves...Read On
Hyde sponsors Tasman challenger

Hyde Sails New Zealand is sponsoring Auckland's Trish Lewis in her challenge to cross the Tasman Sea in her 25ft boat, 'Wishbone'.

Hyde Gulf Coast introduced their one design Sprint 750 sails at Key West Race Week. Team Hyde raced 'Strategy V', owned & driven by Cliff Farrah.
