Design is seen as a crucial factor in maintaining Hyde's position as a leading international sail maker. the talented design team continue to produce race winning sails while developing materials and sailmaking systems in partnership with key supplier.
The software the success of any design office depends not only on the skills and qualifications of its operators but also the software used. Hyde have invested in the latest design package, sailpack, which was developed by Americas Cup syndicate Luna Rossa. Sailpack can be used to design sails for any rig or hull and includes more detail than any other design programme on the market. Quantitative testing is possible to a level only previously available to the most well financed teams and projects.
