Hyde Sails have produced a film sail for the class, the rules are strict and do not allow laminated cloth.
This sail will be firmer and more brittle but could result in performance gains in shiifty conditions due to the material having a ‘memory’ due to it being stiffer. That coupled with how hard it is to steer and see in an illusion, it should result in a performance gain.
We suggest this sail is used up to around 12 knots.
