The Design Team have chosen this material as we can come down 1 cloth weight in PX range from Dimension Polyant, by adding ‘LITESKIN’. This gives the sail a matt black carbon finish but critically it improves the longevity of the sail, which in the case of Sonata gets a pretty rough treatment every tack as it goes around the mast.
